Hi, I’m Rohan - a keyboardist and producer based in Australia.

I started playing keyboard at the age of five, and grew up listening to rock and metal. Since many of the bands I loved were heavily guitar-driven, I naturally gravitated toward learning their riffs and solos - but on the keys. That approach shaped the way I play today.

Blending those early influences with synthesis and sound design, I developed my progressive metal style centered around expressive keyboard playing - full of bendy solos, and djenty riffs.

Since 2020, I’ve been releasing music as a solo artist under the name RO1. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some of my biggest influences, including Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment) and Richard Henshall (Haken, Nova Collective).

My new album, Sunder, drops on November 29, 2025. It’s my most ambitious and cohesive work yet - and I can’t wait for you to hear it.
